Hi, I’m Horacio and after working in the electronic sector for nearly 30 years (oil&gas exploration and scientific equipment for ambient monitoring), I made the decision to follow my passion and work in the repair of vintage amplifiers.
During my career as an electronic engineer I had the opportunity to work with different technologies like tubes (triodes, pentodes, minitrons), transistors, integrated circuits, and microprocessors. What I learned within this time was that attention to detail and quality workmanship is a key element in the intervention of any electronic equipment; it doesn’t matter if it’s going to be used in the middle of an offshore platform in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico or just around the corner monitoring air pollution in a freeway.
